1746-IO12DC SLC 500 Digital I/O Combination Module by Allen-Bradley is an input/output combination module with six 24V DC inputs and six 100-120V AC relay contact outputs and is located on any slots of the SLC 500 chassis except the 0 chassis. It has 6 inputs and 6 points per common and an input voltage range between 10 and 30V DC. It also has 6 relay contact outputs with an operational voltage range between 5 and 265V AC at 47-63 Hertz and 5 and 125V DC at 47-53 Hertz. It draws a backplane current of 0.08A at 5V DC and 0.06A at 24V DC and has a signal delay time of 45ms for OFF and 35ms for ON state.


 

Each output points of the 1746-IO12DC have a maximum current of 2A with a maximum apparent output power of 28VA. The 1746-IO12DC uses a Normally-Open contact and the maximum current on each point is 1.5 Ampere at 120V AC and 1.2A at 24V DC. It has 1.84W power dissipation on each output point and the entire module dissipates 3.9W of heat. It has a working temperature bracket between 0 and 60 °C (32 and 140 °F) with 5-95% humidity and has a non-functional temperature range of -40-85 °C (-40-185 °F). It is built to maintain function at an operational shock of 30G and a vibration of 2.5G at 57-200Hz. It offers NEMA standard ICS 2-230 noise immunity and is C-UL and CSA-certified.
